Nvidia Corp is a graphic chip manufacturer for personal computers, Smartphone and supercomputers, headquartered in the US. Established in 1993, the company manufactures products based on two technologies Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) and mobile processor. It operates in three segment namely Graphic Processing Unit (GPU), Professional Solutions Business (PBS) and consumer products (CPB). Its GPU segment comprises GeForce discrete and chipset products that support desktop and notebook PC. Its PBS segment comprises of quadro professional workstation products and other professional graphics products. Its CPB segment comprises of tegra mobile products that support smart-phones, smart-books, tablets, personal media players, internet television, automotive navigation, and other similar devices. The company targets its products to equipment, design, motherboard manufacturer and consumer electronics companies. It holds over 5,000 patents worldwide (includes granted and pending). 

In fiscal year ending January 2013, the company generated revenues of USD 4280.2 million, having recorded annual growth of 7.1% with net income of USD 562.5 million.
