The company is primarily engaged in operating five local radio stations including Brmb, Beacon, Wyvern, Mercia, Gem 106 and Gold. Its channel Brmb is broadcasted in Birmingham and West Midlands and offers contemporary music. The station has a reach of 416,000 (20%) with 5.2% market share. It’s another channel Beacon Radio is broadcasted in Black Country and Shropshire and offers contemporary music. The channel has a reach of 232,000 listeners. Mercia is broadcasted in Coventry and Warwickshire and has a reach to 144,000 listeners. It`s another channel Wyvern FM is broadcasted in Herefordshire and Worcestershire and has a reach of 114,000 listeners. Its classical music based radio station Gold Midlands is broadcasted in West Midlands.

 

The company is privately owned by Phil Riley and British investment company Lloyds TSB Development Capital. 

 

In the year ended September 2010, the company achieved revenue of GBP 4.06 million and incurred net loss of GBP 1.71 million.
