Telekom Austria

Telekom Austria is the largest telecom service provider in Austria. The company is engaged in providing long distance, local and wireless services, corporate data communications services, as well as Internet services and television broadcasting (Aon-TV) in Austria, Bulgaria, Crotia, Belarus, Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia and Liechtenstein. In Austria, the company offers its mobile services under the brand Mobikom Austria. As of March 2012, it has 20.278 million mobile subscriptions including 5.286 million subscriptions in Austria. The company offers it wireline segment under Fixed Net brand and has 2.320 million subscribers and 1.55 million broadband subscriptions.

 

In February, 2011, Telekom Austria Group purchased 80% of another fixed line operator, Megalan Network AD. On June 8, 2011 the Company acquired B.net Cable Operator from Croatia.

 

For the year ended December 2011, the company generated EUR 4,454 million in revenue with a year on year decline of 4.2%.
