The company operates through its subsidiaries Cogeco Cable Inc (which includes Cogeco Data Services Inc) and Cable Diffusion Acquisitions Inc. Cogeco Cable Inc provides analogue and digital television, high speed internet and telephony services to residential customers. The company passes about 1.6 million homes in its coverage area and provides about 1.97 million primary service units (PSU). Cogeco Data Services Inc provides data networking, e-business applications, video conferencing, hosting services, Ethernet, private line, VoIP, HSI access, data storage, data security, co-location services, managed IT services, clooud services and advanced communication services to commercial customers. Cogeco Diffusion Acquisitions Inc is related to radio operations of the company and owns and operates 13 radio stations. Through its another subsidiary Metromedia CMR Plus Inc, Cogeco Diffusion provides public transport advertising solutions.

In the year to end-August 2012, Cogeco Inc achieved revenues of CAD 1.41 billion, recording annual growth of 11.0% with net profit of CAD 229.69 million.
